GEORGE J KASSOLIS DDS PA is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Monkton, MD

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Order and maintain dental supplies and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and anatomy
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software systems
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus
